COACHING FAQS
What exactly is wellness coaching? Why would I need it? And more pressingly, how much will it cost?
I've answered my most frequently asked questions below. If you have more questions, the quickest way to get personalised responses to your answers about coaching with me, is to book yourself a discovery call!

-
If I do a discovery call with you, am I then locked into sessions after?Nope! Discovery calls are free with no strings attached! If either of us feel we're not a good fit for each other, then there's no pressure to continue with sessions (and indeed, I don't take every client who has a discovery call).
-
How does a session with you work? Each session is an hour long, and what we discuss in the session is entirely up to you. Our work will be guided by your aims, and the goals you're working towards. I recommend weekly or bi-weekly sessions to keep your momentum going. You'll have specific mini goals to work on at the end of each session, so having regular check-ins with me ensures you have the accountability we all need to achieve our big goals in life.
-
How much do individual sessions cost? We'll work together to find a package that suits your budget - and, if you have comprehensive healthcare coverage, or a personal development budget as a work perk, then it is very likely we can ensure your fee is covered. I'd love to chat with you about your budget or insurer - book a discovery call with me so that we can work out the best path forward for you.
-
How many sessions do I need to do?You can do as many or as few as you like, but I recommend booking your first six sessions in your calendar with me, so that you have accountability built into your timetable. Building your ideal life will take time and commitment, and knowing you have sessions pre-booked can help you generate excellent momentum towards changing what you deeply desire to change.
-
Where are you based? Are sessions online or in-person?I'm in Tay Ho, Hanoi, Vietnam and available for both online and in-person sessions (whichever suits you most). My clients, both individual and organisational, are dotted all around the world, so if you're in a different time zone - whether in your office or on the beach - we can find a mutually agreeable time slot to work together.
-
I don't have trauma to work through - why would I need coaching?Coaching and trauma don't necessarily intersect. Coaching isn't the same as therapy - where therapy helps you work through difficult emotions, thoughts, or behaviours, my coaching is about practical action that will help you escape the overwhelm of every day life, so that you can focus your attention and energy towards identifying, then achieving your true goals.
-
I have struggled with my mental health in the past - can I work with you?I'm sorry to hear that! I'm not a clinical psychologist, so I don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions - and, as an ethical practitioner, I will always work within the parameters of what I am qualified for. With that said, my work can work in conjunction with mental health treatments, expanding the tools in your toolbox for your mental and physical wellbeing. Research has shown that positive psychology and coaching psychology can be highly effective for decreasing depressive symptoms, promoting post traumatic growth, and alleviating anxiety. It's incredibly important to me that people get the type of help and support that would boost their wellbeing the most - let's chat about what's right for you in a free, no-strings-attached discovery call.

What are your clients usually like? From any and all backgrounds! I've worked with men and women all over the world: some were feeling stuck and unsure where to go next; others were going through a transitional time, like becoming a parent, and needed extra support during a time of change; others still have had a niggling feeling that something is being left unfulfilled, and wanted to explore that emotion more deeply. There is no 'typical' client, so if you're wondering whether you fit the mould - don't worry. Coaching is for everyone who is curious enough to dive in!
